About

Hello and welcome. My name is Marko.

I am a In fact, I’m also an educator, a cook, a Click here to check out my portfolio, a musician, a tech geek, and a bonafide Are you a Trekkie?Trekkie..

I answer questions and I solve problems.

I work in the ‘Continuity Department’—a one-person organism whose job it is to protect the integrity of the script, from pre-production through to wrap. The department ensures that, come post, the film can be edited in a concordant, logical, and consistent manner.

Put somewhat more dispassionately, the ‘Continuity Department’ represents a cost-containment measure for the production at large. By solving problems early, it helps prevent more expensive and problematic problems from cropping up days, weeks, or months down the road.

As a script supervisor, I work with every other department to ensure that the overall continuity of the picture is maintained. I track elements like dialog, physical action, visual axes, eyelines, sets, props, hair, makeup, and wardrobe. I also monitor coverage, ensuring that no part of the picture risks being forgotten. I am the eyes and ears of the Editor on set.

I am fully trained, having completed the Director Whisperer International Script Supervision Training Program, as well as the Canadian Film Centre’s Script Supervisor Intensive.

Please find a copy of my CV below. I would, of course, be happy to answer your questions and look forward to working together.
